前作の不振でポリドールを見限ったＥｒｉｃとＧｒａｈａｍが、あのエイベックスの
サポートを受けて世に送り出した再結成第２弾にして現時点での最終作。
エイベックスにとっては当時進めていた世界戦略の一環であり、
ダンス・ミュージック一辺倒からの脱却をも狙った作品でしたが、
日本国内では大々的な広告効果もあって
好セールスだったものの、海外では不評でした。
１つには、２人が英仏で別々に自作のトラックを仕上げ、
交互に配置することによって合わせ鏡のような構造にする、
というコンセプトが受け入れられなかったこと。
確かに一風変わった感触の作品にはなりましたが、
ファン心理としては２人の絡みがもっと欲しかったところです。
もう１つは、アレンジを手がけたＡｄｒｉａｎ Ｌｅｅの「色」が強く出過ぎたこと。
特に、アコースティックを多用したＧｒａｈａｍの曲と並ぶと、
打ち込み中心のＥｒｉｃの曲は平板に聞こえてしまいます。
これらの理由で高い評価は得られていませんが、
「Code Of Silence」「Blue Bird」「Age Of Concent」「Take This Woman」
「The Monkey And The Onion」などは聴いてみて欲しい曲です。
ＣＤは日本盤、英国盤、米国盤と、曲数及び曲順が異なります。
ＬＰは英国盤だけですが、ダブルインナースリーヴ入り、
ピクチャーレーベルの２枚組で豪華な作りです。
